1. Our Commitment

The Container User Forum NPC (“CUF”) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to provide a user experience that is usable, understandable and robust across a range of devices and assistive technologies.

Our goal is to work towards substantial conformance with recognised accessibility standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as far as is reasonably practicable for a small non-profit organisation.

 

2. Measures We Are Taking

To support accessibility, CUF seeks to:

• Use clear, simple language and logical page structures

• Provide consistent navigation and layout across the site

• Use headings and lists to create semantic structure

• Ensure sufficient colour contrast between text and background

• Use readable font sizes and allow browser zoom

• Add alternative text to informative images where possible

• Provide meaningful link text that describes the destination

• Design forms with labels, instructions and error messages that assist users

• Test pages on different devices and screen sizes

The website is built on the Wix platform, which itself provides certain accessibility features. We continue to work within this environment to improve the accessibility of our content.

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known or potential limitations include:

• Older PDF or presentation documents that may not be fully tagged for screen readers

• Complex charts or diagrams where providing complete text alternatives is challenging

• Embedded third-party content or widgets (for example, video players, maps or external feeds) that we do not fully control

• Occasional issues with keyboard navigation in certain interactive components provided by the platform

4. Third-Party Content and Platforms

Our website may include links to or content from third-party websites, applications or documents. CUF does not control the accessibility of these external resources, but we aim to partner with organisations and providers that respect accessibility principles wherever possible.
